The Saga of the Missing Green Stripe

Knitted sleeve with a pink stripe below a yellow and pink pattern
Needle threaded through the row before unpicking
Circular needle threaded through the row above the unravelling
Twisted stitches. More unravelling.
Green stripe knitted and grafted to the yellow row.
Then the sleeve was too long…
More grafting after the extra rows were undone
Safety pins and gold thread stopped any laddering

The knitting was measured as it went along, so was my arm. Somehow, the sleeve ended up being long enough to cover my hand as well. All this unravelling and sewing back together must be educational?
